Our change of name is due to the decline of the popularity of the mountain bike, that was the all purpose cycle. As the hybrid has now become mainstream & the cycling public has become more informed, as many people just thought the shop as only selling "mountain bikes", while we have always offered & sold all types of bike, that's only reason for the name change, reflecting that!

Shop History

From a redundant engineer to a Cycle shop proprietor... As a confirmed bikey of many years, riding since a kid, I always dreamt of working in a bike shop, but never thought that fate would take a hand in realising a subconscious dream, by suffering un-employment! As one Tory politician said "Get on your Bike" I did, and that’s how the bike shop in Bristol came into being, providing bikes for sale in the Bristol and Bath area of Somerset. The transition from Skinny wheeled Racers to Fat Tyred Mountain bikes, & now back again! Was... "One small step for man, but one large Leap for Bike-kind ".With apologies to Neil Armstrong & NASA!
